This mag drill is is heavy, but the electromagnet holds very well. I bought this to drill thru frame rails to install an old plow on an old truck. It worked great! My only negative thought is that it runs a little on the fast side for drilling steel, but it works great with adequate drilling/cutting oil and a little patience when drilling with larger bits.
